Lisa Fortune-Creeden

Lisa holds degrees in both arts and sciences – a fitting reflection of a true Gemini who found a way to pursue both passions in life. As a multifaceted artisan, she enjoys exploring a wide variety of materials, techniques, and creative processes. Her creative practices include needle felting, cold process herbal soapmaking, pen & ink drawing, alcohol ink painting, nature art, clay and photography.

Working with people of all ages and abilities, Lisa is committed to creating a welcoming, supportive environment where everyone feels encouraged to explore their creativity. Her patient, caring approach helps students feel comfortable trying new techniques and sets them up for success with every project.

When Lisa is not creating or teaching, she supports individuals and families through her work as an End-of-Life Doula and hospice volunteer. She also enjoys being in nature year-round and embraces the motto, "There is no bad weather, only bad gear". Whenever possible, she and her husband travel to visit their grown sons and families, cherishing every opportunity to spend time together.
